Soft Interface Research Featured at ISEA 2024, Brisbane
I presented my research at the International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA) 2024 in Brisbane, Australia. ISEA is a leading global event that explores the intersection of art, science, and technology through presentations, exhibitions, and workshops. The 29th edition was hosted by Queensland University of Technology.
My paper, titled “Habitual Rituals: Experimental Materials and New Ways to Connect,” was the only Hungarian project accepted into this year’s program. Thanks to my Cooperative Doctoral Scholarship, I presented my work in person on June 21, 2024.
The presentation focused on the current stage of my doctoral research and the Soft Interface catalogue I developed. It sparked valuable professional dialogue and helped me build new international connections across art, interface design, and material-based research.
ISEA’s interdisciplinary environment allowed me to place my research in a global conversation, bridging science, technology, feminism, and experimental design. The study will be published in the official ISEA 2024 Proceedings.
