Fashion and Textile Design MA

I had a great 2 years at the Masters programme in MOME. I was able to develop new ideas and to experiment.

MOME is the only higher education institution in Hungary that offers university level education in textile and fashion culture being also the only institution to have the necessary special objective conditions for that. The MA programme in Fashion & Textile Design offers a higher intellectual level of training, focusing specifically on the personality: new professional challenges can be met successfully only by original ideas, experiments and research.

The design and research projects of the training programme allow for professional freedom, the integration of and crossborder investigations into other areas of study (from architectural space to imaging).These tasks facilitate students in becoming value-creating and creative artists.

By means of the international network connections of the Department students can present themselves at international competitions, professional forums and exhibitions. Moreover, scholarships are also offered for the students to participate in fashion and textile projects with students of other related European MA programmes, thus presented with the opportunity of testing their talent in an international environement or integrating their experiences abroad into their diploma projects. The department’s own workshops are open to the students to develop their diploma projects there, and exhibitions and fashion shows are organised to help graduates succesfully enter professional life.
